Belfast, ME., December 23, 2016 — through the month of December, the residents and staff of Penobscot Shores Oceanfront Retirement Living had been collecting non-perishable food goods for the Belfast Soup Kitchen (BSK).  “We wanted to give back to the community and we knew there was a need; the soup kitchen very appreciative of what we had collected,” said Penobscot Shores (PS) Executive Director Mary Sargent.  Seen here are (l-r): Sam Johannessen, PS resident; Monica Barlow, BSK volunteer; Mary Sargent; Kathy Ferland, BSK manager; and Holly Brown, BSK assistant manager.
