Feb 15, 2014

Camden — Cindy Roth, RPSGT, RT, lead sleep technician for Pen Bay Healthcare’s Center for Sleep Medicine, will offer advice on achieving a more restful and restorative night’s sleep at the next meeting of the area’s Parkinson’s Support Group. The meeting is Tuesday, March 4, from noon to 1:45 p.m. on the first floor of the Anderson Inn at Quarry Hill in Camden and is open to all those living with Parkinson’s disease as well as their loved ones and caregivers.

During the first half of the meeting, licensed naturopathic doctor Deb Moskowitz will explain how she supports patients’ physical, immunological, and neurological health with herbs, diet, nutrition, physical medicine, and more. Moskowitz is the founder of Camden Whole Health, an integrative wellness center in Camden.

During the second half of the meeting, participants will have the annual recognition of caregivers, offering special surprises and treats for those who provide care for loved ones with Parkinson’s.

Support group meetings take place regularly on the first Tuesday of each month, from noon to 1:45 p.m., at the Anderson Inn. Admission is free. Attendees are encouraged to bring bag lunches; Quarry Hill provides beverages and desserts.
