The Grinch did not steal Christmas this season in Rockland, but did make a visit on this float.
Rockland — The annual Festival of Lights parade drew a hardy crowd to downtown Rockland on Saturday evening.
The event, featuring decorated floats that traveled Nov. 30 from Harbor Park and along Main Street, was held with temperatures near 20 degrees and a brisk wind that nipped at the noses of parade watchers.
The parade was the culmination a weekend of activities including the Friday evening lighting of the Lobster Trap Tree at Mildred Merrill Park.
