P.A.W.S. Auction for the Animals event set for Dec. 5

Camden — P.A.W.S. Animal Adoption Center in Camden invites the public to its Auction for the Animals event to be held on Thursday, Dec. 5 ,at The Samoset Resort in Rockport, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. This event is P.A.W.S.S largest annual fundraising event and provides vital-lifesaving support for homeless and at-risk cats and dogs, as well as outreach clinics and humane education programs for youth.

Auctioneer Ruth Lind from Moxie Auctions will be calling the live auction, which includes fine art by Diane Falciani and Eric Hopkins; Cape Air tickets; a wide variety of items for everyone’s holiday life and many local dining, lodging and shopping experiences.  All of the proceeds from this event go to help the nearly 1,000 homeless cats and dogs that come to P.A.W.S. each year to get the care and love they deserve, while they wait for their forever homes.  Deserving pets like Gemini, a sweet puppy looking for love and companionship. And Benson - he is all boy and looking for a home where he can be the king of the house.  Congo is also looking for his new family.  He will love you like no other if you can give him a chance to settle in. Please consider attending the Auction for the Animals and helping raise funds to help the animals!

You can still support P.A.W.S. by submitting an absentee bid or participating in the online auction, which runs until Dec. 12 and offers over 300 items to bid on.
