Owls Head woman joins Collins' Washington staff

Wasington, D.C. — U.S. Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine, announced that Phoebe Ferraiolo has been hired as a press assistant in her Washington, D.C., office. Ferraiolo is the daughter of John and Tammra Ferraiolo of Owls Head. She previously served as an intern in Collins’ Augusta and D.C. offices for the past three summers.

Ferraiolo graduated from Oceanside High School in 2013, where she was captain of the varsity field hockey, basketball, and tennis teams her senior year. She went on to study politics and communication at Saint Anselm College in New Hampshire.

As an undergraduate, Ferraiolo was president of the club field hockey team both her junior and senior years; vice president of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton, an on-campus service society; a new student orientation leader; and a Kevin B. Harrington Student Ambassador at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics. She has also held several internships with ABC and FOX News.
