Owls Head man seriously injured when motorcycle struck deer

Owls Head — An Owls Head man was seriously injured Wednesday morning, July 22, when his motorcycle collided with a deer.

Cecil Fogg, 61, was operating a 2001 Harley Davidson motorcycle on Ash Point Drive shortly after 5:30 a.m. July 22 in the vicinity of Ilvonen Lane when he struck a deer.

Fogg was taken to Pen Bay Medical Center in Rockport with serious injuries.

The Knox County Sheriff's Office was assisted by Knox County Regional Communications, Rockland Emergency Medical Services, Rockland Police and Owls Head Fire.
