Online Poll: Governor vetoes bill to ban cellphones while driving

Aug 03, 2017

This week we are asking:

"Did Gov. Paul LePage do the right thing in vetoing a bill that would ban use of cellphones and handheld devices while driving?"

The governor argues there is already a distracted driving bill on the books and that he does not believe in social engineering. Others argue the current texting and driving bills are hard to enforce. Where do you stand?

See attached chart for results from last week's On The Line Poll.
