Rockland — The October schedule for the “21st Century Bohemian” radio show on WRFR-LP, 93.3 Rockland/99.3 Camden, includes a mix of diverse artists who will have conversations around their creativity with host Teresa Piccari. The show airs each Tuesday from 6 to 7 p.m.

On Oct. 3, singer/songwriter Lesley Kernochan, a native of Santa Monica, Calif., will be doing a live studio performance while she is in town for a house concert in Camden; and talking about her love affair with her music, vision boards and her spiritual path.

The Oct. 10 show will be a lead-up to the 13th annual Belfast Poetry Festival (Saturday, Oct. 14), featuring poetry readings and previews of what one can expect at the festival.

The Oct. 17 show offers a roundtable discussion with the four recipients of the Ellis-Beauregard Artist Residency program. Bethany Engstrom (installation artist), Megan Brady (painter), Vaishu Ilankamban (woodworker) and Michael Gorman (playwright) will discuss their work and the collaborative energy they hope to engender to promote the foundation's goal to engage the community and "encourage, expand and sustain the imaginative dialogue that is fundamental to the arts."

The Oct. 24 show will feature Erika Manning, a Midcoast visual artist whose work was recently shown at the NoRoGallery in Rockland.

And on Oct. 31, Piccari will be joined by John “Pirate John” Bullock to celebrate Halloween through the written word and song. They will share some scary tales and spin some spooky tunes.
