Oceanside Middle School to reopen Monday

Thomaston — Oceanside Middle School will reopen and resume its hybrid schedule for in-person instruction Nov. 30.
Superintendent John McDonald said Saturday the district was notified that a second individual associated with Oceanside Middle School tested positive for COVID-19.
"After consulting with the Maine Department of Education and CDC Team, it has been determined that there have been no close contacts at the school, in part due to the closure of the school this last week. Therefore Oceanside Middle School will be resuming the Yellow Hybrid Schedule for in person instruction beginning Monday, Nov. 30," McDonald said.
