Picture postcard of Norumbega. Joseph Stearns built one of the first "summer cottages" in Camden in 1886 and called it Norumbega. Stearns was the inventor of a method of sending two messages simultaneously on telegraph wires. Courtesy of the Walsh History Center, Camden Public Library.

She sure is however, I could not afford it them and can not afford it now on Social Security. tee hee. Got so used to it we just seem to pass it by. Like the rest of this beautiful area. Got to stop and smell the the ocean more ofter.
