Norman Morrison

Rockland — Norman E. Morrison, 73, passed away peacefully at home in the early morning of Jan. 7, 2020. Home was where his heart was.

Norman was born in Lewiston Dec. 9, 1946, to Sadie May Shaw Morrison and Charles Morrison. There, he attended local area schools.

Norman worked as a clerk at Bath Iron Works for 45 years and retired in 2003.

Norman had many hobbies and enjoyed playing cards with family and friends. Puzzles were a favorite pastime and enjoying life with his loving wife by his side.

Norman met the love of his life, Patricia “Trish” in 1988 and they were married in February of 1989. He was also a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and was baptized in April of 2003. In June of 2014, they traveled to the Temple in Boston where they were sealed in time and all eternity.

Norman is survived by his wife of 31 years, Patricia Morrison of Rockland; a sister, Shirley Brown and her husband Douglas of Mount Durham, Fla.; two sons Peter and Tommy; and a cousin, Peggy Cote of Punta Gorda, Fla.

The service will be held Saturday, Feb. 8, at 2 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 64 Old County Road, Rockport.

As he and Patricia loved all the animals, memorial donations may be made in his memory to the Pope Memorial Humane Society at P. O. Box 1294, Rockland, ME 04841
