Please announce on email, social media, and any other forum as a follow up to June 30 rallies to increase pressure for immigration policy changes:
Nonviolent Direct Action Workshops to further activate people around the issue of bringing immigrant families together, ending separation, abolishing ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement), and changing public attitudes and government policies on immigration on July 14 in Portland and July 15 in Bangor, time is 9 AM-3 PM.
Please come to organize to increase pressure to stop this form of torture for immigrant children and their parents and end the treatment of immigrants as “illegal.”
Open to all, regardless of past experience, room for both those who are or are not considering civil disobedience.
Cost is by donation.
Bring a lunch or food to share.
