Lincolnville — Nomination papers for 10 open seats will be available at the Town Office beginning Monday, March 21.

Up for election this year are:

One seat on the Board of Selectmen, currently held by Rosie Gerry, with a three-year term;

Three seats on the Budget Committee with three-year terms, currently filled by Cecil Dennison, Tracy Colby and James Sinclair, and two seats with two-year terms filled by David Barrows and Barbara Gould;

One seat on the Lincolnville Central School Committee with a three-year term currently occupied by Briar Lyons, and one seat with a one-year term held by Michael Johnson.

Two seats on the Five Town Community School District Board, one with a three-year term currently filled by Kelly Gould and one with a two-year term held by David Perkins.

There are differences in term length because some of the incumbents were appointed, not elected, to fill the seats and do so only until the end of the term, according to town officials.

Nominees must collect a minimum of 25 and a maximum of 100 signatures from valid Lincolnville voters to qualify for the ballot. The papers are due to the town office on May 2.

The election is scheduled for June 14 and the town meeting is scheduled for June 16.
