No injuries in Rockland three-car crash

Rockland — A three-car crash on Thomaston Street in Rockland Feb. 4 was caused by the failure of one driver to break in time while two other vehicles were stopped in traffic, according to a crash report from the Rockland Police Department.

Heather Rahkonen, 30, of Rockland was traveling east when she failed to stop her car and rear-ended Brenda Carty's Toyota 4Runner, causing Carty's vehicle to bump Sandra Williams' Jeep.

Williams, 45, of Owls Head, and Carty, 48, also of Owls Head, were stopped in traffic, according to the report.

There were no injuries.

Rahkonen and Carty's vehicles were towed from the scene.

Rockland police, fire and emergency medical services responded to the crash.
