CAMDEN — A large group of hearty people wearing bathing suits plunged into the frigid waters of Camden Harbor Feb. 1

The annual Polar Plunge is one of the events that kicks off Winterfest, which begins Feb. 1 and culminates in the Toboggan Championships at the Snow Bowl, Feb. 7-9.

Polar Plunge raises funds for SunDog Outdoor Expeditions, a non-profit organization that offers outdoor adventures for youth in grades 5 through 8.
