AutoCAD Basics training at MCST Adult Ed

ROCKLAND - Mid-Coast School of Technology Adult Education is offering an Intro to AutoCAD course over 6 Tuesday evenings, starting Oct. 31. Emphasis will be placed on basic shape creation, use of symbols, layers, line-types, orthographic projection, text formatting, and dimensioning. Applications learned will be applied to multiple disciplines and according to industry standards.  An understanding of basic drafting skills would be beneficial. The instructor, Cindy Cygan, has taught various levels of AutoCAD classes for high school students, Adult Ed learners, community college and industry training for the past 24 years.  Her background experience covers civil, mechanical and architectural engineering, along with small craft design, in a variety of industry positions.
