National Volunteer Appreciation Week!

It’s National Volunteer Appreciation Week, and we’ve got countless reasons to be thankful!
Covid-19 changed the way we operate at Pope Memorial Humane Society. Like so many other organizations, we were forced to dig deeper and get creative. Each day presented new challenges and opportunities, and sometimes it felt like we might never find our footing. But we did.
We provided thousands of animals with food, comfort, medical treatment, new homes, and new love. We distributed thousands of pounds of free pet food to families in need. We remained a true source of joy, relief, and hope to families all across our community.

On behalf of everyone at PMHS, thank you to our volunteers for being resilient, staying flexible, and showing up. Our future is bright because of you.
