Nail trimming, ear cleaning to benefit Rockland pet rescue

Rockalnd — Bring pets in need of nail trims and ear cleaning to Pet Quarters in Rockland and volunteers from Catahoula Rescue of New England will be on hand to make the fur kids look their very best. All types of pets are invited.

Nail trimming and ear cleanings are available for a $5 each or combo price of $8. All funds raised go directly to rescue. This event takes place, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the following dates: Jan. 25, Feb. 4, Feb. 11, and Feb. 18

On Tuesday, Jan. 28 and Tuesday, Feb. 25, Dr. Joel Hokannen hold his monthly Wellness Vet clinic from noon until 6 p.m. The Rescue will be available to trim nail and clean ear from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on those days.

Catahoula Rescue is an all-volunteer group whose mission is to advocate for homeless Catahoula Leopard dogs and Catahoula mixes, to place these animals in permanent, loving homes, and to promote responsible guardianship through humane education.
