Mystery author at Waldoboro library

Waldoboro — Midcoast mystery author Dorothy Cannell will speak about her cozy mysteries Saturday, Oct. 21, at 1:30 p.m. at Waldoboro Public Library, 958 Main St./Route 220.

Cannell is the author of mystery novels, including the well-known Ellie Haskell series, as well as many short stories. Her books have been sold around the world, and her short stories have been published in many anthologies and magazines. Several have been nominated for the Agatha Award, with “The Family Jewels” winning. Cannell is a member of Mystery Writers of America, American Crime Writers and Sisters in Crime.

This presentation is free and open to the public. Books will be available for sale. For more information, call the library at 832-4484.
