My Next Career Move class starts Oct. 22

Augusta — New Ventures Maine, in partnership with the Camden Public Library, will offer My Next Career Move, Tuesdays, from Oct. 22 to Nov. 19, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The program is a free five-week class designed to enable you to take charge of your career and create an action plan to achieve success.

Participants will learn how current skills connect to future careers; identify high-growth job fields; explore education and training options and build a strong resume for a targeted job search.

Graduates of My Next Career Move are eligible to apply for the University of Maine at Augusta GEN Scholarship, to be used at any UMA location.
