More residents take out papers for school, town positions

LINCOLNVILLE — Five Lincolnville residents have taken out nomination papers for two open seats on the Lincolnville Central School Committee.

Tracy Brixius, Jared Harbaugh, Michael Johnson, Kayla LaCombe and Mathew Powers have taken out papers for two three-year terms on the school committee. Johnson and Powers have returned nomination papers to the town office.

Christine Stevens and Jasen Wood currently hold the school committee seats.

Ladleah Dunn and Keryn Laite Jr., incumbents on the board of selectmen, have both taken out papers to seek reelection to their three-year terms. Dunn has returned her papers to the town office.

Charles D. Crockett and Reed Mathews have taken out papers for three-year terms on the budget committee, where there are three open seats.

Andrea Palise has taken out nomination papers for a one-year term on the Five Town CSD School Committee. The position has been vacant for a number of terms.

Papers must be returned to the Lincolnville Town Office no later than 4:30 p.m., April 13. They must be signed by at least 25, but no more than 100 persons who are registered to vote in Lincolnville.

Elections for the positions will be held June 12.
