My sons rejoiced as they heard the news on Wednesday evening that School would be closed on Thursday due to the impending storm. There was also some happy news. Our kitty who had been missing for three months named "Ricky" was found, just in time before the storm. It truly is a miracle that he managed to survive on his own for three months and look no worse for the wear. It feels like a weight has been lifted and we can finally move forward from this experience. Thank you for everyone who has helped in his search.

Here is a shout-out to all the plow drivers driving around in the blizzard. Thank you for your service. Though we did not lose power, this goes out to the CMP drivers as well.

The Town of Montville is still looking for someone to fill the Deputy Clerk position. Ideally the Deputy Town Clerk would be able to do everything that the Town Clerk can do; (register vehicles, voters, dogs, ATVs & boats and process Vital Records (i.e. marriage licenses). It takes a long time, and a lot of training, to become certified to do everything so who ever is selected for the position may not be at 100% ability to fill in for the Town Clerk right off the bat. For more info contact Sandi at tcmontville@fairpoint.net or call 342-5544.

We were able to finally check out the new restuarant in Liberty called La Mesa. We ended up running into several friends by chance there and had a wonderful meal. The interior is warm and inviting. You place your order at the register and find a table. The food was yummy and you are sure to find someone you know filtering through. Check it out (lamesacantina.com)! They are on the corner of Rt. 3 and Rt. 220 in Liberty.

That's about it for this week. Until next time.
