Monday Night Blues returns Feb. 17

Feb 10, 2020
Peter Karp Band

Rockland — The long-running weekly Monday night blues series returns Feb. 17, Presidents Day, with the Peter Karp Band, playing at 7 p.m. in the upstairs music room of Time Out Pub, 275 Main St. Doors open 6 p.m., and admission is $15 at the door.

Americana/blues singer, songwriter, guitarist, keyboardist and harp player Karp has been described by Blues Blast Magazine as one of the most well-respected songwriters in America. A storyteller, assertive singer and searing slide guitarist, Karp is a singular musician who taps tradition while keeping the contemporary, blending roots music styles into something that transcends any one of them.

The weekly series continues Feb. 24 with the Joe Moss Band ($15); March 2, Slim and The Perkolators ($15); March 9, Chris Beard Band ($15); March 16, Gabe Stillman Band ($15); and March 23, Biscuit Miller and the Mix ($20).
