Rockland — Milton Leon Paquin, 84, passed away Jan. 1, 2018, in Rockland.

He was born in Thomaston, May 2, 1933, to Joseph L. and Marie (Cote) Paquin, who predeceased him.

He graduated from Cony High School in Augusta in 1952 and joined the Air Force, serving during the Korean War in Tripoli, Lybia. He was honorably discharged in Fort Worth, Texas, in 1956.

Later, Milton graduated with high honors from New England School of Art in Boston in 1961.

His passions and interests were wide and varied: artwork using several different mediums, being a world traveler, and entertaining his nieces and nephews with magic tricks.

He is survived by his loving sisters, June Libby of Yarmouth and Madeline Hughes of Santa Rosa, Calif. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 22, at Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Mount Vernon Road, Augusta.
