Weather Brief Aug 19, 2019

Midcoast Weather - August 19, 2019 PM

Monday was off to a gray and wet start across the Midcoast with low clouds and fog in place along with passing showers and storms associated with a warm front lifting through the region. The fog and clouds began to clear into the afternoon allow for temperatures to warm into the 70s and low 80s. A cold front will move in from the west late Monday that will bring another round of showers and storms followed by gradually clearing into Tuesday. High pressure will build in behind the front making for a mostly sunny day that will allow temperatures to climb into the upper 70s to mid 80s. An area of low pressure will approach for the mid week and roll through the Midcoast bringing a return of clouds, showers, and storms for Wednesday and Thursday. We'll clear out for the late week and into the weekend as high pressure builds back into the region with slightly cooler temperatures with highs in the low to mid 70s, lows in the 40s and 50s, and lowers humidity.
