Midcoast lens: Thaw before the freeze

With temperatures in the mid-30s and partial sunshine, much of the slight white covering melted and rivers flowed freely with the runoff Jan. 30. Above, the Medomak River gushes toward the Main Street bridge in Waldoboro.
