Midcoast lens: Adventures from here to there

With temperatures hovering near 90, many flocked to their favorite beach to welcome in July, but some found an air-conditioned local road adventure to be satisfying. Above, Annie, an English bulldog, enjoys a float on the water at Crescent Beach in Owls Head.
