Weather Brief Sep 20, 2019

Midcoast Forecast - September 20, 2019 PM

After another cool start Friday with lows in the 40s, temperatures rebounded with highs about 10 degrees warmer than we saw Thursday as highs climbed into the mid 70s. This trend will continue through the weekend and into the early week as warm and humid air moves back into the Midcoast, making this last weekend of Summer feel more Summer like. Along with the warm weather, we'll continue to see mostly sunny skies with high pressure remaining in control of the region. The increase in humidity will result in area of fog developing during the overnight and early mornings  but this will burn off quickly during the morning. Clouds will increase on Monday as a cold front moves in from the west bringing a round of showers in overnight and into Tuesday. Temperatures will cool behind this front into the mid week, dipping back into the 60s. We'll see another chance for rain Thursday followed by another warm up into the weekend.
