Weather Brief Sep 19, 2019

Midcoast Forecast - September 19, 2019 PM

The Midcoast had a frosty start to the day Thursday with lows dipping into the 30s for many locations. We thawed out quick into the afternoon with highs climbing into the mid 60s under sunny skies thanks to high pressure holding strong over the region. We'll see another cool night with lows dipping down into the 40s Friday morning but the cool air will quickly wash away as temperatures jumping into the 70s during the afternoon. The sunny weather will continue Friday with high pressure in place and temperatures climbing back to more summer like readings with highs in the mid to upper 70s. This trend will continue through the weekend with highs ranging in the mid 70s to low 80s with increasing humidity. Much of the Midcoast will reach the 80s on Monday but clouds will increase through the day with a round of rain returning. We'll see showers move in overnight with periods of rain on Tuesday. Temperatures will gradually cool into the midweek with highs in the 70s Tuesday and 60s by Wednesday.
