Weather Brief Sep 19, 2018

Midcoast Forecast - September 19, 2018

Cool fall air is moving into the Midcoast Wednesday along breezy north winds after a cold front moved through late Tuesday with a line of showers and storms. This along with the cloudy skies has held temperatures in the 50s and 60s for highs. We'll see more sun emerge from the clouds on Thursday as high pressure builds into the region but temperatures will stay cool with lows dipping down into the 40s and 50s and highs in the low to mid 60s.

An area of low pressure moving through Quebec will push a warm front into Maine on Friday morning with a few spotty showers and cloud cover. We'll see a period of dry weather during the afternoon but more rain will move in during the overnight and early Saturday morning as a cold front moves in from the west. This will clear into the start of the weekend as high pressure builds back in pushing in a reinforcing shot of cooler and crisp fall air.
