Weather Brief Sep 13, 2018

Midcoast Forecast - September 13, 2018

Sunshine made a return on Thursday after a wet and cloudy start to the week and we'll continue to see the sun for the late week and weekend as high pressure builds over the region. Temperatures will be comfortable with highs in the upper 60s to mid 70s and lows in the 50s. High pressure will also keep Hurricane Florence well to our south which is expected to make landfall near the border of North Carolina and South Carolina on Friday and linger through the weekend. The Gulf of Maine and offshore locations will see larger swells from the storm through the late week.

Our next chance for rain comes late Tuesday and into Wednesday as a cold front moves in from the northwest. Rainfall may be enhanced by the remains of Florence. We'll clear out into Thursday as a shot of cooler air moves in.
