Weather Brief Oct 05, 2018

Midcoast Forecast - October 5, 2018

Sunshine returned on Friday along with cooler and drier air as high pressure built in behind the front that brought clouds and spotty showers on Thursday. This high will sit over New England through the remainder of Friday and on Saturday continuing the clear and cool conditions with highs holding in the 50s.

A warm front will lift over New England on Sunday bringing clouds and spotty showers back to the region as temperatures climb to the 60s and 70s into the afternoon over the southern half of the state. This frontal boundary will remain stretched from west to east around the region into the start of next week with cool air north and mild air south. The front will keep clouds around along with some spotty showers.

An area of low pressure will move in from the west during the late week providing more organized rain showers and pull the front through to the east allowing for clearing into the weekend.
