Weather Brief Oct 02, 2018

Midcoast Forecast - October 2, 2018

More rounds of rain showers are moving through the Midcoast Tuesday as low pressure rides along a stalled boundary draped from west to east over the region. We'll see the heaviest rain move through early Tuesday night with some embeded thunderstorms possible. Rainfall totals will range between 1/2" to 1.5' with locally higher amounts.

High pressure will build in on Wednesday allowing for clearing skies and temperatures to rebound back into the 60s for highs. Clouds will build back in on Thursday as a cold front moves in from the west. This will bring the chance for a few light showers late in the day. Cooler air will move back in behind this front as skies clear on Friday with highs in the 50s to near 60. We'll see more sunshine on Saturday as temperatures rebound into the 60s with clouds, showers, and milder air expected for Sunday.
