Weather Brief Oct 10, 2019

Midcoast Forecast - October 10, 2019 PM

Clouds are locked in across the Midcoast as a storm system sits nearly stationary of the Mid Atlantic bringing heavy rain to southeast New England. Along with the showers, waves have increased to over 10 feet along the Maine coast prompting a a high surf advisory. The cloudy and breezy weather will continue on Friday with showers eventually moving in from the south late in the day as coastal low pressure continues to spin offshore. The cloudy weather will keep temperatures on the cool side with highs holding in the 50s. The low will begin to move out to sea on Saturday while throwing one last set of rain into the Midcoast during the morning hours. We'll see clearing and warming into Sunday as temperatures rebound into the 60s. We'll see another chance for a few showers on Monday followed by a more significant storm for the mid to late week.
