Weather Brief Nov 07, 2018

Midcoast Forecast - November 7, 2018

The Midcoast is drying out Wednesday with sunshine back after a soggy election day. Temperatures were relatively mild with highs climbing into the upper 50s to low 60s. High pressure will build in from the west through the late week providing partly to mostly sunny skies while filtering in cooler air. We'll see highs eventually dipping down into the 40s with lows nearing the freezing mark Thursday night.

Clouds will steadily build back in Friday with another round of rain moving late in the day and continuing into Saturday morning, very similar to the setup we saw last weekend. Skies will clear Saturday afternoon as cool and dry air moves into the region along gusty west to northwest winds with sunshine continuing for Sunday. Temperatures will become chilly for the second half of the weekend with highs dipping into the 30s and lows in the 20s.

High pressure will set up over the region into the early week with continued sunny and cold weather on Monday but clouds will build back in late Monday as another storm moves in. With cold air in place, this may start as a mix of winter weather Tuesday morning then change to rain along the coast through the day. Stay tuned for updates.
