Weather Brief May 08, 2018

Midcoast Forecast - May 8, 2018

Sunshine was out in full force Tuesday with high pressure in place over the region although some fog snuck in along the coast late in the day. High pressure will hold for Wednesday giving us another sunny day with some fog and low clouds again toward the coastline. Highs in Wednesday will climb into the 60s and 70s but a strong afternoon sea breeze will knock coastal temperatures to the 50s and 60s.

Clouds increase on Thursday as a cold front moves in from west and low pressure moves by offshore providing a low chance for late day showers with some spotty rain into the overnight. We'll clear out Friday and cool heading into the weekend with highs back into the 50s and more clouds and showers arriving on Saturday. We'll see more sunshine late in the weekend and into next week along with warmer weather.
