Weather Brief May 07, 2019

Midcoast Forecast - May 7, 2019 PM

We started off sunny early Tuesday but clouds built back in quickly through the morning as a cold front moved in from the northwest which will bring showers and possibly a couple storms during the afternoon and evening  with 1/10" to 1/4" of accumulation. High pressure will build in behind the front on Wednesday bringing the return of sunny skies with highs holding in the 50s.

We'll see another dry day on Thursday but clouds will be making a comeback as a large area of low pressure develops to our west and pushes into the northeast. This will bring soaking rain Friday with around 1/2" to 1" of accumulation expected. Clouds and showers will also make for a cooler day Friday with highs holding in the 40s. Skies will clear out on Saturday as high pressure takes hold back across the region setting the Midcoast up for another pleasant spring weekend with a good deal of sun and highs into the 60s. We'll see another round of rain move in on Monday.
