Weather Brief May 22, 2020

Midcoast Forecast - May 26, 2020

The clouds and fog that moved in on Monday has burned off and retreated just offshore as sunny skies Tuesday propelled highs in the mid 60s along the coast to upper 70s inland. We'll see areas of fog return overnight and more clouds move in during the mid to late week as southwest flow ushers in warmer and increasingly humid air. Highs will reach the 70s to low 80s with southwest flow off the ocean keeping temperatures cooler right one the water. A slow moving front will approach from the west as we continue through the rest of the week bringing some showers and storms for northern Maine Wednesday and Thursday with showers moving toward the coast Friday and into Saturday. Skies will clear on Sunday as the front moves out to the east and cooler and less humid air returns.
