Weather Brief May 21, 2019

Midcoast Forecast - May 21, 2019 PM

Sunshine is back Tuesday as the storm system that brought clouds, showers, and storms Monday clears out to the east. We've seem brisk northwest winds in the wake of this ushering in drier air as temperatures raised into the low to mid 60s. High pressure will build in from the west through Tuesday and set up over the region on Wednesday making for a mostly sunny day with light winds with highs holding in the 60s. The high will clear to the south and east into Thursday as our next round of rain moves in from the west. This will bring showers for the evening and overnight with gradual clearing through Friday.

Memorial Day weekend is looking decent so far with a mix of sun and clouds and highs reaching the 60s and 70s. There will be a round of rain Saturday night and into early Sunday with the possibility of some spotty showers on Monday, but these don't appear to be of great significance at this point.
