Weather Brief May 21, 2019

Midcoast Forecast - May 21, 2019 AM

The cold front that moved through Monday with showers and thunderstorms is clearing east along with an area of low pressure which is in place over the Canadian Maritimes this morning. Clouds will linger behind the storm on Tuesday followed by more sunshine into the mid week as high pressure builds in from the west. Temperatures will stay mild and pleasant with highs in the upper 50s to mid 60s.

Thursday will start off sunny but rain will make a return late in the day as another round of low pressure moves in late in the day, clearing Friday morning. High pressure builds back in behind this for the weekend with a mix of sun and clouds and temperatures climbing to the 60s Saturday and 70s Sunday. We'll see a chance for a few showers moving through the region Saturday night into Sunday morning with a few more spotty showers for Memorial Day Monday.
