Weather Brief May 15, 2019

Midcoast Forecast - May 15, 2019 PM

The system that brought rain and some snow mix to the area on Tuesday is very slowly moving out, keeping clouds and some pockets of light rain across the Midcoast Wednesday. We have seen a slight warm up with highs reaching the upper 40s to mid 50s with occasional peaks of sunshine. We'll see a dry and comfortable day Thursday with a mix of sun and clouds and highs in the mid 50s as the storm continues to move out to the north and east.

A warm front will lift through the region on Friday bringing another round of rain but temperatures will be milder with highs in the upper 50s to low 60s. Rain will clear heading into the weekend with some lingering clouds for Saturday and Sunday as highs hold mainly in the 60s with cooler temperatures right on the ocean. We'll see another round of rain move in late Sunday and into Monday with highs holding in the low to mid 60s. High pressure will build in briefly on Tuesday with a return of mostly sunny skies followed by another round of rain late Wednesday.
