Weather Brief May 14, 2019

Midcoast Forecast - May 14, 2019 PM

Tuesday has been a raw day for the Midcoast with periods of rain showers and temperatures ranging from the upper 30s to mid 40s. The cool air allowed for some snow to mix in with the rain at times with some accumulation in the western Maine mountains and higher peaks of New England. Our storm will be slow to clear into Wednesday with clouds, showers, and patchy fog lingering into the morning hours. We'll see some clearing into the afternoon with peaks of sunshine helping to raise temperature to the upper 40s to low 50s, cooler Downeast.

We'll see a dry and comfortable day Thursday with a mix of sun and clouds and highs in the mid 50s. A warm front will lift through the region on Friday bringing another round of rain but temperatures will be milder with highs in the upper 50s to low 60s. Rain will clear heading into the weekend with some lingering clouds for Saturday and Sunday as highs hold mainly in the 60s with cooler temperatures right on the ocean. The rain returns yet again on Monday.
