Midcoast Forecast - May 10, 2018

Thursday was off to another grey start as fog and low clouds set over the Midcoast yet again but this steadily burned off especially inland as the morning hours went on leading to partly to mostly sunny skies into the afternoon. Clouds will build back in late Thursday as a cold front moves in from the west but most of the rain associated with this front will fall apart reaching the Midcoast.

Winds will become breezy out of the northwest behind the cold front on Friday as skies clear and the coastal fog gets swept away. Cooler air will filter into the region holding highs into the 50s for most locations with decreasing winds into the afternoon.

Clouds will build back in again on Saturday as rain moves in from the west with spotty showers for the afternoon and overnight. This will keep temperatures cooler with highs again in the 50s. We'll clear out on Sunday with temperatures climbing back into the 60s.

Sunshine continues into the early week as temperatures continue to warm reaching the 70s by Tuesday with clouds and showers possible again on Wednesday.
