Weather Brief Mar 05, 2019

Midcoast Forecast - March 5, 2019

Tuesday has been a sunny but cooler day across the Midcoast with highs in the 20s but the increasing sun angle and daylight helped to chip away at Monday's snow pack. Any of the slush and melt will refreeze Tuesday night with temperatures dipping into the teens and single digits.

A weak cold front will bring a reinforcing shot of cold air Tuesday night and into Wednesday morning that will increase cloud cover and touch off a few light flurries. Our weather will stay quiet through the late week with colder air locked in.

Temperatures will make a rebound for the upcoming weekend with highs back into the 30s and will continue to climb late Sunday and into Monday as a strong area of low pressure tracks through the region with a brief winter mix late Sunday changing to rain into Monday as temperatures climb into the 40s.
