Weather Brief Jun 05, 2019

Midcoast Forecast - June 5, 2019 PM

After a round of early morning showers Wednesday, clouds gradually cleared through the midday allowing temperatures to climb to the 60s to near 70 into the afternoon. Clouds will increase again late in the day as another batch of rain moves in. An area of low pressure will move in from the west pushing in more organized rain for Wednesday night and into the morning hours on Thursday. Rain will be heavy at times during this period and may contain embedded storms with accumulations of 1/2" to up to 1.5".

Skies will gradually clear Thursday afternoon as high pressure builds in from the west giving us mostly sunny skies for Friday and through the upcoming weekend. Along with the sunshine, temperatures will feel more summer like with highs reaching the 70s to low 80s during this period. The sunny and warm trend will continue into the early week followed by rain for the middle of next week.
