Weather Brief Jun 11, 2018

Midcoast Forecast - June 11, 2018

The sunny and warm weather we saw take back hold over the Midcoast during the weekend continues as we start off the work week with high pressure large and in charge over the region. This will continue to bring sunny and mild weather into Tuesday with highs mainly in the 70s with some 60s for locations on the immediate coast. Winds will be breezy at times Tuesday as warm air continues to pump in along southwest winds.

Wednesday will begin with sunshine but clouds will steadily roll in through the day as much needed rain pushes in from the west. Showers with some embedded storms will arrive during the afternoon and continue through the evening before tapering off into the early night with rainfall totals ranging between 1/4" and 1/2".

We'll see gradually clearing into Thursday with temperatures holding in the 70s for highs. We'll return to mostly sunny skies for Friday and continue into the weekend as temperatures climb into the 80s with some low 90s possible across interior sections of the state.
