Weather Brief May 22, 2020

Midcoast Forecast - July 10, 2020

Clouds have moved back in Friday with some peaks of sun inland but the gray weather is set to continue into the weekend. We'll see areas of light rain Friday night with steadier rain Saturday morning as Tropical Storm Fay moves into western New England Friday night then weakens over Vermont then Quebec through Saturday with a round of heavier rain to our west. Rain will taper off across southern Maine during the afternoon Saturday with some peaks of sun possible. A cold front will follow in behind the tropical low from the west on Sunday bringing more clouds and a chance for showers and possibly thunderstorms. Our pattern looks to be someone cloudy and active into the early part of next week with rounds of spotty showers and some storms with highs mainly in the 70s along the coast with some 80s inland. It looks like we'll see more sun by the late week.
