Weather Brief Jul 09, 2018

Midcoast Forecast - July 9, 2018

The gorgeous weather we saw over the weekend continues for Monday with warm and sunny days and cooler less humid nights. We'll warm up a bit more for Tuesday ahead of a cold front that will bring afternoon clouds and spotty showers and storms. Rain will be hit or miss so some communities may miss out on the action.

High pressure will build in behind the front for the mid to late week continuing the sunny stretch of weather while keeping temperatures and humidity comfortable with highs in the 70s and 80s and lows generally in the 50s. High pressure will also help to deflect Hurricane Chris offshore as it moves up the east coast through the week. This will through some high clouds towards the coastline along with some higher swells but no significant impacts are expected.

A slow moving front will approach for the weekend making for a few extra clouds and a chance for showers and storms.
