Weather Brief Jan 21, 2020

Midcoast Forecast - January 21, 2020 PM

Tuesday started off with some of the coldest temperatures so far this winter with morning lows in the single digits and below 0. We saw a good deal of sunshine through the day which helped to raise temperatures some, reaching the teens to low 20s during the afternoon. A warm front will lift across the region on Wednesday helping to moderate temperatures for the mid to late week. We'll reach the upper 20s and low 30s by Wednesday afternoon then upper 30s and low 40s for the late week. Clouds will increase through Friday and hold Saturday as our next winter storm approaches that will arrive Saturday night and continue into Sunday. This will arrive late Saturday night and continue through Sunday with a mix of rain and snow. The storm track is trending further south which would mean mainly snow for the Midcoast with some rain mix possible along the immediate coast. Early snow totals appear to be similar to our latest rounds with around 4" to 8" possible. We'll see clearing for the early week with highs holding in the 30s.
