Weather Brief Jan 20, 2020

Midcoast Forecast - January 20, 2020

After seeing 4 rounds of snow the past week, our week ahead will be quieter thanks to a large dome of high pressure that has taken hold over the region. This will result in partly to mostly sunny skies through the week with temperatures gradually rising. Tuesday will be another chilly day with lows in the single digits to near 0 and highs in the teens to low 20s. We'll reach the upper 20s and low 30s by Wednesday then mid to upper 30s for the late week. Clouds will increase through Saturday as our next winter storm approaches that will arrive Saturday night and continue into Sunday. Right now it appears temperatures will remain mild enough for mainly rain along the coast with snow inland. If the storm shifts further north it will mean more widespread rain, and a shift south leading to mainly snow. There is still a lot of time to go before this event so we'll be updating the snow chances through the week ahead.
